@OridtehHunter You missed my point. The title is not fitting for the cases I pointed out. The title of the first, more famous song is the inspiration for the copy cat songs in the first place. Example: I might decide I like the idea of a song called "Poker Face", so I go and write a new song called "Poker Face". The English language is huge and there is room for originality. And if the songwriters claim they didn't know, first, I don't believe them, second of all, they know how to use google.

and how can you saw they are "stealing" the title to make their song more popular. In all the cases you pointed out it's a very fitting title.

Impossible they didn't know there was a song with this title already. That's lame. REM's is much better anyway. Bruno Mars did it with "Just the Way You Are". Black Eyed Peas did it with "Where is the Love". Bands of lesser talent steal an existing title knowing it will ring familiar in people's heads. It's wrong, and kinda lame.

@Hypnofy6 I can do what i want and so can you. You should learn to let people experience what they want and not instantly snap into a negative response. Not every person who smokes weed is cool or goes out to fight crime but that doesn't mean no one is. I look at myself in the mirror everyday saying respect is earned, never stolen. It would be boring otherwise, cops can't touch me I'm too high. No pun intended. also don't walk down the street with a mask on your asking to be put in handcuffs.
