I stood there still like a statue, star-struck and dumbfounded by his appearance. It felt like my heart had suddenly stopped supplying oxygen to my brain as I slowly fell into a trance of his persona. He had perfect rich maple sugary curls that neatly crowned his head. The light rays gave it an iridescent glow omitting through the brown locks sparkling. The spirals of chocolate fell neatly into place as it slightly covered his eyes. His honey coated coloured orbs were like a predator, they were beautiful; it had the ability to scare of its prey with just one glance. His thin pink lips were soft like velvet; I could just picture my lips fitting perfectly onto his. He had a milky tone complexion and a small straight nose. He was wearing a tight v neck white tee which exposed his sculptured and muscular upper torso, he was fit. I bit my bottom lips letting a hundred thoughts scatter through my mind. I shook my head violently letting the thoughts slip out as I slowly realised my pearly white teeth from my lip.

"I'm just gonna run through a series of questions and I want the truth" I spoke in a very brutal tone, I was a Detective, and he was a suspect of a serious crime, I couldn't just be all gentle and sweet. I had to do my job.

"Whatever, I didn't do it" he snapped

"Mr umm" I looked down at my notepad and had no record of his name. "Your name sir"

"Nicholas Jerry Jonas" he folded his arms across his chest

"Ok Mr Jonas, I'm just gonna need a bit more information about you before I can begin questioning you"

He rolled his honey coated orbs annoyingly as I started to take down some notes.

"How old are you sir?"

"How old do you think I look?" he smirked while raising his thin eyebrows

"Sir"

"Miss, we all know I didn't do anything" he flashed an innocent smile at me as he bashed his thin eyelashes back and forth, like a butterfly flying its wings. Focus Selena, focus! This is your job.

"Just answer the question" I was beginning to lose my temper as my face was getting hot

"Not until you answer mine" he continued to show off that devious smirk he had plastered his face.

"Look, if you want to go home then answer my question. How old are you?" I asked again

"I can see that you are tired, you've had a ruff day" he placed his hand on my cold cheek that sent chills running down my spine.

"Ok you know what, you're coming down to the police station" I grabbed his body and forcefully pushed his frame against the car door. I grabbed the silver handcuffs that hung out from my pocket and locked it around his wrist until the ratchet make a small click sound. A small smirk crept on the corner of my plump lips as I opened the door shoving his body powerfully into the back seat of the car slamming the door behind me.

I walked back over to the officer "He's not answering my questions, so I'm gonna take him to the police station for further questioning"

The officer nodded "We are going to investigate the apartment for DNA samples, blood etc"

"Where is the victim?" I questioned

The officer pointed to the girl who was sitting in the back seat of the other police car. Her arms were wrapped tightly around her trembling knees as she softly whimpered. Her long chocolate hair was cascading down as it covered her facial features, making her unidentifiable.

"Have you questioned her?" I asked

"I've tried, but she just stutters and hesitates to answer"

"Have her driven to the station so I can question her after I finish questioning Mr Jonas"

I walked back to the car and opened the door, sliding into the driver's seat. I looked into the top mirror to make sure he was not up to anything. I inserted the car into the engine and turned it into ignition as the car started to roar, the fumes of gas began to appear from the exhaust. I turned on the flashing red and blue lights. I stepped on the gas as I zoomed off the highway to the station for further questioning.
