Hey bro I am about to make some videos on my synth techniques. I think we can trade some ideas. You are one of very few on youtube that actually knows what they are talking about. Cheers!

Sorry for spamming, and if you don't mind me asking, what are the specs on your Macbook? I'm starting to take producing more seriously and am considering buying a good Macbook Pro, but don't wanna ABSOLUTELY slaughter my bank account.

I would've lowpassed the toms at maybe 300-400Hz just to get the tom-ish sound out of the snare sample... you think that would still work/give better results?
OfficialTdotBEAR 3 weeks ago
@OfficialTdotBEAR Sure try different things. The reason I tuned the tom up was so it was mainly hitting at 2-300hz..Thats where that "body" resides in the Dubsnares. So if u low pass it you lose all of that.
TheMavriikk 3 weeks ago
@TheMavriikk oh no, I get the tuning up bit but I wanted to cut out strictly the top end while keeping that peak around 250 Hz. Whatever, it's all about experimenting and getting the sounds you want... I'll try it and see how it goes.

@OfficialTdotBEAR Cool yeah I mean in this tutorial personally I think I went a lil overboard cause I was experimenting also . You can find the right 909 and a clap and eq and compress them to achieve this IM sure.
