@TheProudBlackWoman Be lucky you are over here and not over there. They burn people alive over there and still eat each other on occassion. Africa has such vast potential farm land but they are going backwards and no amount of money seems to help other than not so many starve like years ago but if the all the aid was pulled they'd be right back to the stone age over night.

@TheProudBlackWoman Their aren't capable. There are groups all over the US that have sent combines, tractors and equipment along with spare parts but in a years time they are all stripped of anything of value and are just empty shells. It's not them to be farmers. Look at the farms taken from white farmers and they are now just forests of weeds and brush and no one there just like it was hundreds of years ago when whites first came and cleared the land. Not to mention the trillions of $ sent

@SexPanther235 I hate to see combines wrecked but I gotta agree with you and it is their machines and no one elses. As far as Africa, look at all the groups who have sent combines and tractors over there just to have them stripped bare and in a years time be nothing but shells. Let them have some fun.

when farmers got board?

@TheProudBlackWoman Mam, I am black, so please, spare me. Seriously hope you get combines, just not broken ones like these as said by K73mrviking.

@creamyfilling102 Not all of us. We smarter flatlanders know that you can only depreciate and amortize your equipment on an IRS Form 4562 for so many years, & most farmers use 'em beyond what they can claim them on. And that once worn out, it makes more sense to buy another one for D&A, as well as lower maintenance costs & no down time so their already-meager profits stay up in survival range. Just letting ya know, some of us city slickers do understand and appreciate what you do & go through!

where is this and why dont I live there...
The fact that this has become a political discussion is beyond me. This happens like once or twice a year, and some of you are bitching and moaning about "wahhhhh, destruction of capital" or "give em to Africa." Yeah, Africa's number one problem is not having enough combines. Not, I don't know, unstable political systems or corrupt leaders. Jesus, let em have some fun and shut your miserable-bitch-ass-mouths up!

@SexPanther235
you sir, is an ignorant white man who has none knowlege of how dis world works. I have personally been to Africa 3 times and I have not seen a single combine. They has fields to harvest but none combines to harvest wit. If we could send these machines to da people, then they would not have to starve theyselves. We could make the world a betta place but all you does is crash yo machines an ruin them till theres none left. have a heart and start caring

@TheProudBlackWoman These combines are over 40 years old and longer function to harvest wheat. They are worth more as scrap iron. but if you want to pay to send one to africa i will get one for you.
