Watch and learn ladies and gents. Professor Costa does a great job of staying heavy, active and consistently distributes his weight which ultimately limited his opponent’s hips and defenses. By getting a sweep and passing the guard, it put a comfortable lead on the score board for Felipe to start to focus on a finish. Much props to Luis for fighting off a top sided triangle hold while also defending a secured Kimura, and despite all that, still hustled out of the hold(s) for the sweep. Nice!
