Creature near Indiana Dunes State Park 11-22-2008

Me and my family were driving around the Indiana Dunes yesterday near the state park. I went down State Park Boundary Rd. and I was showing my kids where you can almost always see deer standing right by the road. I was hoping to get some on video when we I saw something really strange in the woods. My camera takes pretty bad videos but you can see it. There was no one else around and no cars. Take a look for yourself.

What the! My wife told me I had to put it up on Youtube so here it is. Maybe some kids fooling around or someone was making a movie up there - but there wasn't a car in either direction for a mile. Weird!

what do you mean the arms are to short? Compared to what? the one that we caught already? Science models ? the Indiana Dunes are just the kind of area this thing could survive. we have a huge expanse of natinal lakeshore wilderness here. I sometimes wish i hadn't seen this or caught it on tape. I was just looking for some deer. my daughter still has nightmares that thing is coming into her bedroom window. we've been out in the area several times since then and nothing more again.

FYI - brother-in-law has the original and is working on getting a better version of the video off of it. He says it got pixelized in the conversion that i did to make it smaller. should have that soon.

Regardless, we have another better picture to put up online somewhere and we have been out there twice already trying to see more. Nothing yet. Come back in a week or two...

My brother-in-law is trying to get the source video files from my camera somehow - he thinks he might be able to get clearer video or clean it up.

@IndianaDuneMan .I don't doubt that you think you saw something. However, most likely it was a poacher trying to get you to move out of the area, kids having fun, etc. I have lived in the area for more than 20 years. Have seen some strange things given the makeup of the area. There are a ton of trails, some official, most not, where they could have parked. However, if a poacher, they will not park anywhere close to where they are poaching. Weird people, yes. Bigfoot, no.

I can't believe Animal Planet is wasting their money coming here. Either you set it up, it's a hiker or it's a homeless person living in the area. It's certainly not Bigfoot.

ive been to that area several times. if u walk around gary after dark u see lots of those things. most of em try to rob u though.
