We recreated Laser Tag to now use real lasers instead of infrared signals. This video is a short demo of the gun and the vest. Keep in mind that as students we are on a severe budget and some of the parts may look rather flimsy.

Everything you see in this video was built and fabricated by us for our Embedded Systems Design class at Georgia Tech.

this is bob post him every where !!! he will soon rule youtube

  • so... the sensor panel is diffusing the laser light to the black bars on the sides which then sense the signal? How flexible is that panel? How big can it get before it stops working well? How many of those panels could you put in a single vest?

The reason real lasers aren't used in "laser" tag is because actually hitting a sensor with a pinpoint of light is very difficult. If you can solve the problem of the sensor, then you've got yourself a marketable idea.
