  • Hi Fred! Hi Kyle! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Here, some 42 yrs later, that record still sounds good. Lee and the boys did a fantastic job on it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  • In the 2nd half of the 1960s, this was one of the few Christmas songs I liked hearing on the radio, along with "Little Saint Nick" and "The Man With All The Toys" by the Beach Boys. Yes, I was in the Washington area.

  • very cool !

  • Sorry to haer of the passing in January 2011 of Mark Mouhtouris, drummer on this cut. RIP

  • PART 1: NOBODY'S CHILDREN were all students at Suitland High School in Prince George's County Maryland, except lead vocalist Dennis Boone, the rest of the group was Mark Moughtouris on Drums, Lee Travers and Jan Zukowski on guitars and bass; Junco Partner, produced by Harv Moore and issued on UA, was their first 45, I belive the flip was LET HER GO, then came this Surf Boys Santa 45, then Mike Colburn joined......

  • Part 1: COLBURN who recorded for me many years later as NIGHTMAN, joined as vocalist on their cover of a HOLLIES hit, I CAN'T LET GO, initially issued by Evie Sands,The Nobody's Children version was issued locally on BULLET then later on Buddah, flip a Mike Colburn sung DONTCHA FEEL LIKE CRYIN'. Jan had gone on to a band called Tuesday's Boots, then ooked up with the Grimes Brothers, formerly of THE EMGLISH SETTERS, in the band Cherry People; Jan later worked with The Nighthawks for 20+ years

  • Hey Harv, this is Skip Groff from WINX, been trying to find this Nobody's Children cut for years! Do you have the flip, STUCK IN THE CHIMNEY UP?
