A shrine of football shirts and posters are left at the gates of Rugby Park where the Celtic legend spent almost five years as a player and manager with Kilmarnock FC.

  • one of the best managers killie have and will ever have. only left to go back to his home. i was lucky enough to be at cowdenbeith when we were def going up and he was so modist as we cheered him. he said it was the players and not him that done it.

  • @jc333jc Aye there was that judas muffled nonsene; but it wis unrepresentative of the vast majority of killie fans. a fine manager too! :-)

  • @tammas2000 I agree. How fitting that an Irish lassie has to tell us that Tommy Burns was commemorated at Rugby Park. We already know! Is this Sectarian thing ever going to end?

I seem to remember, that for a while, Judas was his name. :-)

Still, he was a fine player and manager and is sadly missed.

  • 3 years on sunday tommy burns legend . hope we can do it .

  • @dpdrn69 If you pray for an end to bigotry, why do you openly support a club fouded on sectarian ideals and still produces pure hatred to this day? Have some pride and support your local team

  • @parkerktid1 Who should be the new Killie boss?

  • tommy twists tommy turns tommy tommy tommy f*cking burns killie legend!

  • @dpdrn69 Well I don't pray for it, but I wish for the end of Celtic and Rangers fans from Kilmarnock! No offence, but I like Ayr fans better - at least they support their local team and don't have any religious influence in the team they watch; as do real Killie fans.
