I got the Panasonic Lumix 10x Optical Zoom...I looove it!! But Alex told me they're coming up with the Cannon G11 this year!!

I'm probably going to get a dedicated video camera. A small one that I can slip in my pocket and records in a hi-def mpg format. Preferable mpg2. None of my software can edit the darned .mov format my camera currently records in. I never even thought about video when I bought my camera so I never considered video quality or editing. My mistake and I'm sure kicking myself in the butt because of it these days.

I know how you feel; our little hobby can be a pain in the tuhus, but is so gratifying once we have it down!! I wanted one of those too; but also had to consider picture quality and zoom...I had to comprimise sound once again. But at least it's better than my old cannon.
