  • Honestly sometimes I WISH I wasn't 54 years old, yet if I wasn't I would've missed enjoying John and his lovely music.

  • @melaniemckown That goes for me too!

  • THANKS!

  • rare video!!

  • @michaeldonegan Do you know where I could buy this TV special from? I have looked on the internet for it and can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

  • @michaeldonegan No problem at all Michael. If or whenever you are able to post it that would be great. I kind of remember seeing it when it was up for a while but then it has been down for some time. Thanks Michael.

  • @puck57 I will try to get it posted tomorrow. Unfortunately I am soon going to work so I just don't have time.

I have just viewed the clip again. What I saw is John standing at the microphone, and a few bars of the 'Annie's Song' melody are heard. The camera cuts away before he starts singing. The camera does not cut back to John until the song is finished. I saw nothing to suggest that he was actually singing 'Annie's Song'.

  • @michaeldonegan Hey Michael. You ARE correct from the autobio he does write "early '74". Do you have the clip from Red Rocks of "Annie's Song" that could be posted? I know on some of these songs they do put the background footage in soon after JD starts the song from this concert. Thanks Michael.
