[Seiha Lim] owner of Angkor Tours (http://www.AngkorTours.net) is the best Angkor tour guide. He speaks fluent English, Thai and Cambodian. His knowledge of Cambodia and it's history is encyclopedic. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a visit to Angkor Wat. You may contact him at: http://www.AngkorTours.net Email: SeihaLim@AngkorTours.net; Phone: +(855) 12-953-110

Siem Reap, is a province located in northwestern Cambodia, on the shores of the Tonle Sap lake. The provincial capital is also called Siem Reap. The name literally means Siamese defeated referring to the victory of the Khmer Empire over the army of the Thai kingdom of Ayutthaya in the 17th Century. Today it is most widely known for being the closest city to the ruins of the temples of Angkor.

  • Nice video, will be there next week..thanks.

  • Actually, the best is a chap called vutthy, he has a 4X4 and a minivan so we could all go together, he's also personal freinds with David Snellgrove whose books on the area are the best around.

  • i used a tuk tuk driver called mr ron, he's a bit mental but very funny, he kept trying to run over chickens and he knows alot about the temples and has some sad stories to tell, he's normally parked outside the Ivy 2, which also served the best food in town. i miss that so much, i've not long been back and i'm saving my pennies so i can return asap. if anyone reading this is going soon, make sure you visit the dead fish bar, you'll see why when you get there. nee hi.
