@invadification It's the OST to the film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, which is not really a horror story (McCarthy calls it a love story), but there's horrific scenes, like the one with this song.

1:30 is pretty much the basis of Worm Tamer, never realised that before.

@joethfc Oh wow, you're right.

@aimlessalchemist I think they have sampled themselves a couple times which is pretty cool. Like "Magma" is sampled in the Road ST and I think it may be on "When My Baby Comes" intro, unless that is just them using the same technique on a different recording. Great to see genius ideas working in completely different contexts.

@joethfc Checked them out and you're right. I've listened to those songs so often and never noticed before.
I saw Grinderman a couple months ago and it was amazing to watch the two of them work. They kept trying to mess each other up. Warren Ellis jumped into Nick Cave's back and got all in his space, and Nick Cave grabbed Warren Ellis and heaved him onto the floor. That didn't stop Ellis, though. He just broke out the maracas and shook those.
