Ah bite me, I'm not pretending. I DO like every album they've released, in one way or another. I'd agree the last few albums are not as good as earlier ones but that doesn't mean I think they're bad or boring just cos you do. For example Reveal is a mood thing but I like its breezy charm, Around the Sun was a bit one-dimensional but still had some great songs, like the Outsiders/Electon Blue/High Speed Train. We shall have to agree to disagree.

Can't & never will agree with that. They definitely lost some bite when Bill Berry left, I'll give you that, but they've never made an album without intrigue for me. But, I'm 35 years old & I've been a fan of REM for 27 so you picked the wrong person to reply to with that
