Oh my! Thanks for posting, I remember this like it was yesterday, pandemonium all over Lagos, remembered as a kid sitting next to my dad's Grundig's gramophone listening to this...remember the lyrics word for word.

i remember the day muriatala was assasinated and for a 6 year old it was quite surreal. it was the first time i'd experienced a sombre mood which affected the whole of the country. sunny ade captures the mood in this track. Thanks GM
