  • how to make concrete with glossy black cover layer?

  • @jarek57 The glossy black part is fiberglass that has been painted and cleared so it will not stick to the concrete when it is poured over it. If all you are trying to do is get a black finish you can get black acid stains or color additives. To get it glossy you either have to polish it or pour it on a plexiglass surface.

  • @jarek57 poly or resin

  • What do you use to coat the foam before applying the fiberglass and resin?

  • apparently heaven is in your bathroom

  • Could you tell me what green epoxy you used to cover the foam in? Or what compound you used? I was also curious what fiberglass mixture you used and what method you used for applying it. Thanks

  • I know about polishing etc. I thought that u use something more at the end to make it more shine. thanks
