Monty Oum's "Haloid" with Casual Dave Original Music Stereo

This is a portion of a animated video by Monty Oum called "Haloid." It's a wicked cool matrix style sci-fi fight scene. He was kind enough to post a version of it without music and just the sound effects stating "Do feel free to cut edit etc." I've posted links to his page at Gametrailers which has other movies of his(killer stuff) and if you dig this, it's not even half of it so go check rest out.

My dream job would be to make music for tv/movies/videogame so to work up my music porfolio, I like to compose and arrange to cool scenes. The music for this is something I actually have lyrics for but when I saw this video I thought the main riff worked pretty well with it and figured I do a different arrangement, sort of a sci-fi heavy metal groove that came out reminiscent of a Rush type tune. I really dig the solo on this tune. It was a one take improv and though it doesn't shred it does scream! Hope ya dig it!

@CasualDaveDotCom Seriously dude, do you have a band happening there, or is this all stuff you mixed together? Sounds like you have 2 guitars involved here (and one is a strat if my hearing serves me right), this just sounds sick as hell man. I love it. Put it on a CD to drive to. (Hope I don't get any tickets). Makes people like me get inspired to play more than let my Strat collect dust...rock on man!

@Orion13622 I programmed the drums, bass and keyboard and then laid down several guitar tracks. I've got a peavey telecaster with a humbucker bridge and single coils for the neck and bridge so some parts do have a bit of strat sound to them. That's really cool that you're sticking it on a cruising tape! Another track of mine called "Super Riffing" might fit with that. It's the track to my "meet my band" video if you want to check it.
