150 year old Bryant & Stratton College will host the first, fully online, live Second Life graduation ceremony on June 10, 2009 http://online.bryantstratton.edu/slgraduation/.
Bryant & Stratton College graduates will receive their degrees where they earned them--online. In what is the first live Second Life graduation, 150 year old Bryant & Stratton College will host a fully online, Second Life graduation ceremony on June 10, 2009. Approximately 40 graduates from Bryant & Strattons online degree programs have committed to receive their hard earned degrees in their avatar form on the colleges virtual campus.

What an interesting idea! Graduating in the virtual world... Who would have thought. Weaving education into our social fabric, whether real life or virtual, is always a great idea.
