The intro music for this series really has that '70's guitar riff which has that "nineteen-seventies" signature(used in many shows&movies made during that era).

When you see the Granada going through the plate glass window, you know this isn't an episode of Heartbeat. Also the scene at the end when Bodie, Doyle and Cowley are walking down the street, you think, what total hard bastards. A shame all we get now are cops who are more worried about their personal lives and if they are gay or not or old men digging up cases from the seventies.
