Exactly......They don't teach these kinds of powerful skills in NLP. Anchoring is the skill. It is an example of easy elicitation and anchoring to a space. In this case 2 contracting states. One of like. The other dislike.

Good point and if you listen to his comments he says he is grinning because he can feel it an it feels weird.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is everybody seeing in black shirt that tells them that he is changing state? He looks pretty similar to me (but probably because I dont' know what to look for).

I too, used to hate listening to Tom. I got his first product, I think, it was 10 CDs, and could only listen to it in small doses because his laugh drove me up a wall. Absolutely HATED IT. BUT. Decided to go to a seminar based on recommendations from "people that know." The upshot is that now, I enjoy hearing him laugh (?!?!?!?). I seem to find it comforting for some unknown reason, but this was only AFTER I went to a training and met him in person. And he's NOT a sleaze.

Actually, I rewatched the clip again, and it became a surprising and pleasant spark for a learning actually. You know, when it dawns upon you that submodalities, spatial anchoring et al is well, really naturally occurring phenomena!
