  • Note how, Number One, this 'game' came out during the height of Soupy Sales' popularity (around '65) and Number Two, it didn't stay on the market more than a week. I mean, what parent in their right mind would want their kid to have THIS? What? So they can mess up their house? Oh well, even Channel 11 (NY) came out with a Soupy clone called Hank Stohl in 'The Surprise Show' after Beachcomber Bill quit after being hit with a pie on his show.

  • @jb20092009 I think it was inspired by Soupy Sales Pie in the Face gags or something like that.

  • Ok. Who the h-ll would think of that as a fun family game!

  • @BBInsanity You mean what the heck!

  • @BBInsanity Spinner, mask, pie thrower, fun for you and grown ups too!

  • @heine71 Thank you. That's what I was saying.

Yes, and since I don't believe in coincidences, and Archie Comics even put out a Soupy Sales fanzine that year, i would say that that is VERY accurate.

  • Not to mention all the other clones of Soupy Sales Worldwide.

  • @chuckula66 Pun Muses??

  • @heine71 I guess that isn't the right choice of words...."The Pun Muses" seems less wonky. They are the ones who inspire very bad puns. : D

  • @chuckula66 Who are the PUN GODS??
