OVER 100 MORE examples of Fox News Bias at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

The way Fox News uses chyrons and other on screen text to frame or even change the information reported reminds me of some of the satire in "The Word" segment on "The Colbert Report" as I show in this video.

The clip of Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson discussing the return of President Barack Obama's political advisor David Plouffe with former Obama national campaign manager Steve Hildebrand comes from a segment on the program "Fox and Friends" broadcast February 5, 2010 (which I have not been able to find online).

The image of my YouTube video titled "Does the Stephen Colbert Character Know The Word Mocks Him?" comes from my YouTube video player page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHgLTNsHJcE

  • Colbert satire: complex form of humor dripping with sarcasm, self criticism and demonstrative, hyperbolic characterization that can be several layers deep, useful to make fun of Fox News' uncanny inability to address or reconcile journalistic shortcomings and contradictory content. Fox uses satire too, not very well on purpose. Usually consists of on the nose insults, crass comparisons that vary in degrees of vulgarity or racism, low hanging irony, and wordplay things like "President O'Bummer"

  • @bibbler227 .....Lol.. Yeah okay.

  • A bunch of left wing crap. LOL

  • I never knew what a chyron was; thanks LiberalViewer.

  • This makes me wonder, How different would a deaf person's view of the world be if they don't have closed captions and only read the Chyron for their news?

  • Stephen Colbert is a satire...

  • @aoiahiru

I have very accurate knowledge of the use and etymology of the word.

Perhaps you need to do a little referencing... and analysis, since it seems you don't "get it."

  • @aoiahiru: I was purposely being "liberal" with my use of the word oxymoron...moron!
