Another version of this tune, this time played on a vintage Hohner Pokerwork one row melodeon in C. I have chosen a slower swingy style, sort of like a Texas fiddle tune.

  • Tres bon rythme.j'attend avec impatience de recevoir mon 1040 pour le jouer comme vous.

  • This is absolutely beautiful, just the right tempo. Because of your performance, I have become inspired to take up the melodeon. Thank you for this gift.

  • Very pretty and superbly played...thanks!

  • My uncle gave me one like this not so long ago. Was wondering if you had any infos on this accordeon. What years was it made. My model on the box (original box by the way) is 460. I would really appreciate if you could help me.

    thanks.

  • i have a pre-war one - sdtill in the box. it has a great sound to it. it oughta after all these years eh

  • I gave one of these to a friend on the Schooner Meerwald, I fell out of my rebok's when I found out thier now worth about $800

  • Nicely played and it sounds like you did a good tuning job.

  • That "Texas Swingy Style" is very convincing and suits the tune well - lovely sound and playing!

  • Oh, that's beautifully played - lots of feeling and harmony; I love it! Your pokerwork sounds lovely by the way!
