sounds like someone doesnt really value the importance of backup singers like most of us who sit around the drum do.........its an honor to have women come and sing with you..........and i love the feeling backup singers give........it's like the cherry on top of a hot fudge sundae!! lol

I Love Blacklodge Singers. They Are One Of The Best. I Am Southern But It Doesn't Matter Where We're At Cause We All Are From Mother Earth And The Drum Is Her Heart Beat. That's The Way It Was Then, As Well As It Is Now. Respect. No Matter Who Sings..Male Or Female..We're All Kin'Folk.

agreed!! back upsingers stand. the only time the cal sit down at the drum & hit it is if the drum "boss" says its okay & the woman receive tobacco. but its a sign of respect for the singers, the drum, the woman their selves & the eyes of the creator to stand & sing. HOKA !!

biggummer, please don't hate, if you sang before then you know about back up singers, I'm old skool too, and I work too, I don't like what you implied that Neheyowak who powwow don't work. I work and I attended Powwows, it's a shame you hate on my peeps , and I'm proud to be Indian. Hatcha!!!!!!!

lol...that guy was gettin yelled at...but yeah anyway...havin a women back up singers is an honor..its what i was taught. plus they can give a sweet melody to the songs...pendin on their gift...but hey man...you have a list of singers...do ya thang brah!!! i guess
