I was also born, November 1953. I remember playing it on the trumpet in Middle School Advanced Band. The songs reminds me out my youth. As a parent to two grown children, U am reminded of the happy days of when they were young. Thank You for the post.

such a wonderful song, i was in the army at the time when this version was released, the same month and year that my father died, it was one of his favourite songs from when it was originaly released in the 1950's, since then it has become a icon song for me, bringing back memories of my father and army life, thank you for posting
