China's Shenzhou 7

China has just completed the third manned space mission. The Shenzhou 7 mission featured a space walk. The taikonauts (Chinese astronauts) returned safely about three days after launch. It is rumored that in 2010 the government will send its first woman into space. These three taikonauts trained for over ten years for this mission. I was surprised that the astronaut never let go of the handle to the hatch. The other astronaut never went completely outside because he said he did not fully trust the spacesuit to protect him.
