DIY Asphalt Shingles and roofing shingkes DIY - http://www.roofing-materials.com.au for full details - All IKO asphalt roof shingles come from the factory with small cutout guides that makes diy roofing installation very easy. These guides line up the asphalt shingles both horizontally and vertically on the roof plane. Always use chalk lines to double check.

  • @jcolton11 why are u complaining about taking too much time driving the nails,he's not racing or trying to impress nobody ,I don't think he is a professional roofer but is so far better than a LOT of roofers on you tube.

  • You're taking too much time driving those nails in. Should use one tap to set the nail, and a hard swing to drive it home. Also you are holding the roofing nail wrong. Should hold it like one would hold a cigarette(I don't smoke), with the nail between two fingers and holding the back of your hand to the shingle. That way if you miss, it hits the softer part of your fingers. If you hold it the way I explained, your fingers will be farther from the head of the nail.
