  • It would be helpfull instead to see progressions building up on the scale. Why doesn't anyone take a song first and explain how to armonize or build a progression for a song? To have a progression and after try to use it, is like having a shoe and a star looking for a foot. I rather know my foot and look for the shoe.

  • @37no37 that's not what this is about . i'm just introducing people to jazz chords, and i'm trying to make it interesting by making an intro. harmonizing on a scale is a whole different can of worms . if people learn all the chords i'm showing ,they will be able to play backup on almost any tune .

  • you are great, may I ask you something?

  • @37no37 thank you ! ask away .

  • love your lessons freddie . you make it fun . and evryone knows jazz is like hard sums

  • @twelvemeister thx for letting me know you like the lessons . and yes . it should be fun !
