We meet Mr.Voltaire the Gothic Renaissance man with his Gypsy pirate band at NYAF.
It's after his concert we see him greeting his loyal fans.
In this interview he talks about how it's been all these years traveling the lands.

There was a young lady there who I thought was very pretty. She reminded me of my first comic book character, Chi-chian. I asked if I could take a picture of her. Mind you, I'm thinking to myself, "she has a great face! I should take a picture of her so that the next time I draw Chi-Chian I can refer to the picture". So anyway, I asked her, "Can I take your picture?" and she blurted out her age! Like "I'm 16!" or however old she was. I said, "I'm not hitting on you! It's just a picture!" lol
