Fun at Scotia with the 1911. 25 yards, offhand.

  • um, a soda can is a small target at 25 yards. the mechanical accuracy of a stock 1911 doesn't allow for groups much smaller than a soda can, and these shots were taken one-handed. in essence, you don't know what you're talking about.

  • LOL@ the people talking smack about the OPs accuracy. Go shoot a pistol at 25 yards. Real life shooting isn't call of duty or halo.

    People crack me up.

  • For us that can't afford to shoot 800+ rounds a month, A soda can at 25 yards aint the easiest shot.

  • I can hit well with my Colt Huntsmen .22 with its long barrel and my Kimber 1911. With my Glock 17 and 22 I need to get a rubber grip so it stays tight and doesn't slip. I might just put some skateboard tape on the sides.

  • I can do clays and cans at 25 yards also, I've been shooting 1911s for 20 years. It always makes me laugh at the people who play video games talking crap on those that actually do the things they press buttons to do.

I'm stuck on a Taurus PT 840 currently, I love that gun!

To the Poster: Keep it up, nothing makes you feel better than watching a can pop from a hit.

  • I can hit clay birds at 25 yards with my .45. Those are about 5". Cans are a bit harder.

  • Nice shot. I like the hit on the second one. Boom.
