Classic old military computers and machines -- lots of buttons, knobs, and lights. General purpose data processors. Typewriters. Electronic brains will take guesswork out of decisions. High speed information retrieval.

  • Man, that shit is the next gen yo!

  • @wrf1984 As far as I can tell, that is actually the _first_ hard drive, the IBM 305 RAMAC. Total capacity 5 MB.

  • When the cylons or Skynet attacks then these are what we are going to have to resort to.

  • but how did they programmed these machines?

  • MAJOR coolness! I'd give my right [thumb drive] for one of those old reel-to-reel tape drives. 'Dat shi. . .uh, thing would look good in my office.

  • Particularly note the **HUGE** hard drive and the slow-motion "stylus" giving/retrieving information. A marvelous precursor to today's hard drives. Excellent find.

  • 0:56 "high speed information retrieval"... video of p-tape! Nice stuff, thanks for uploading.
