I had a sm. hiatial hernia, but i never had those symptoms. Though I've gone through several tests that brought me to the diagnosis of GERD. So how do you feel about being lactose intolerant and not being able to eat the foods you once had?

@jlt1984 I'm not sure if I have GERD, but I do have the symptoms, but the endoscopy never showed that. But sometimes tests are not always accurate & they don't find everything. I have so many problems with my digestive system, and my doctor wanted me to get a colonoscopy; but I refused because too expensive, and I'm still paying for the endoscopy procedure from last year.

@jlt1984 Lactose-intolerance is starting to grow on me. I don't really crave chocolate, but it hurts that I'm not able to enjoy cheese and Irish soda bread, since it contains buttermilk. But I will probably make Irish soda bread for my sister.
