I've just been to laos and i learnt a little lao but i was always too afraid to say Khawy (me/I) as it sounds so similar to Coi (cock). I tried saying to someone Khawy baw sabaii (I don't feel well) and he told me what I actually said was My cock isn't well. As in I have an STI. What is the difference in pronunciation of these two words?
