Thanks for your comment. oil pressure was brought up manually with an electric drill through dizzy hole onto the oil pump drive first.

If it's a brand new engine with new cam, shouldn't it be run at about 2000 rpm for about 20 mins for the cam to bed in ? As a previous kit car builder (Westfield), good luck with your project !! Jon
