too cliche, bad acting, decent images. compliments on sound editing. scenes were repeated too much. glad to see you using super8 though. keep it up!

why must all experimental films be creepy as fuck?

Brilliant Film that reminds me of Andre Tarkovsky.

So amazing and so spooky I love it. I got to work with Super-8 film back in the late 90's and have a few of those films on my channel. They are music videos and light hearted. Take care and keep up the great work!

Andy, what were some of your influences for making this?

A bit lengthy. Lost me toward the end.

You managed to capture a sense of foreboding and paranoia very well!

Fantastic... I would like to try some Super 8 too. I do numeric movies but I want to add this visual ambiance. Which cameras do you recommand me ?

Thanks for your comment, I recommend the Braun Nizo 801 with macro. You can pick them up off ebay for around £200 - they do timelapse and you have control over the shutter to do some effects as seen in Night Call. If you've got the cash there is a pro model as well at around £300 and i've heard these are worth the money and shoot at 25fps.

hello,
did you use (especially in the beging of you video) any filters or something like this?
if yes, can you please tell me where you find them, in what software, and how you use them in little words please?

Its all super 8mm no filters - i shot on an old russian stock called quatzchrome wich gives it the strange effect. The only bit done in the edit was where I keyed images over the TV screen and you can see this quite easily as I made a shoddy job of it.

Nice. What Camera did you use? Film Type? Did you achieve these effects in camera or in post?

Hello, Nizo 801 Macro, all effects are in camera apart from when i keyed an image over the TV screen. With the nizo there are functions that allow you to play with the film speed and also exposure times. Many thanks
