Amish - A Secret Life (BBC 2012)

An intimate portrait of Amish family life and faith -- this film opens up a world usually kept private. Miriam and David are Old Order Amish and photography is not permitted under the strict rules of the Amish church. So when they agree to open their home and their lives to the cameras, they embark on a journey which is not without risk. The truth and sincerity of this family's faith shows in their love for each other. I could see how the parent's really intentionally do that for each other and their children. The kids were so kind and loving to each other too. Children can't fake that.

I don't have to agree with every particular of their religion to value that. Jesus said "They will know you are my disciples by your love for one another."

I don't hate Amish people, not by any stretch of the imagination, but I could never in a trillion years live this lifestyle. They're WAY tougher than I am.

I did not threat white people. I said that I do not trust white christians and white america - that does not mean that I hate them or want to kill them. Their support for zionism and Israel is just superficial - in the end they want to convert us an assimilate us. I think that if we open the western borders more, multiculturalism will give us jews protection against prosecution but of course, they all need to adopt the idea that of zionism. Why should I go back to Israel? We own america!

There are different types of Amish, Mennonites being the most lenient, and then there's Old Order Amish. So if you see an Amish person using technology, it's because their particular order is more lenient. Driving through Lancaster yesterday I saw an Amish woman out mowing her lawn with a modern lawnmower. I also saw an Amish man plowing his field using horses. It's neat seeing them in person, even though i've lived in Pennsylvania all my life, im still so intrigued by it.

I have the feeling that when the camera is not around she's beaten by her husband, she said it herself, I don't think that's a genuine smile. That's the impression I got...

Look how they live. They reject liberalism for God, family and communitarism. They are also white. Im not sure on their stance on Israel and their support the jewish people. People who keep their culture and religion and do not adopt liberalism and zionism are dangerous for the jews so these people may be dangerous to us. They are also white and white people cannot be trusted, though all white people will be gone soon. It is just a matter of time.
