Jack Shapiro on Gaza Massacre

Speaking at a meeting organised by the CPGB-ML after the massive anti-israeli demonstrations in London on 3 Jan 2008, Cde Jack Shapiro, veteran communist and staunch anti-zionist campaigner, condemns the massacre of Gaza.

He discusses the overwhelmingly pro-israeli bias of the media, and urges all to do all they can to keep up the pressure on Israel, and 'our own' (UK) and the US imperialist governments that back them to the hilt, and are thus fully culpable for the atrocities.

He points out that there can be no comparison or equation of the terrorist acts of the israelis and the attempts of the palestinians to defend themselves from this overwhelming violence. We should not be fooled by, and must oppose and expose their propaganda to the effect that the legitimately elected Hamas government are 'the terrorists'. They are not Israel IS.

Jack is living proof that Jews can and must oppose Zionist Fascism, for the greatest export of Israel is anti-Semitism, and it is creating a terrible legacy for the previously revolutionary Jewish people.

Israel's theft and war crimes are irrefutable. But what of Islamic expansionism? Are the lot of you aware of the dogma? Forget the PFLP, I speak of the cause that is Islam in essence. I'm not too sure about Great Britain, but the ruling class in the USA often does/did refer to a sort of moral imperative from God (at least dubya + the republicans did) as a justification for military intervention in the Middle East.

I really don't know any 'Al Qayda', but if you mean CIA organized Al Qaeda, then you should have written so. And I don't get your joke about Osama...

On the other hand let me recapitulate:

Crusader States is a geopolitical term that ran thought history, which you know it, falsely, as Balkanization.

And the raw fact that Israil is there in same position, with same reason, with same purpose, I really don't see the problem with using this term exactly.
