This is my all time favorite guitar solo. I might be wrong on this, but I think Chris Holmes is the one playing this solo...atleast whenever they did this one live, he played the solo.

The version on the first album is Randy playing the main solo. Chris does the outro pick tapping thing. When Randy left Blackie and Chris did the solos so that Blackie started and Chris finished off. When Chris came back to the band in the mid 90s he did the full solo but it was always a lot different from the original Randy Piper version.

That's always a compliment cause it means the playing was close to the original. In the ending part when I play different licks you can hear how much louder my guitar is than the backing. Thanks for watching!
