great video footage... the workers speaking at the beginning of this video along with all their coworkers and supporters are very brave to fight for their families and the future of all of our jobs.

More and more folks are learning the evils of corporate America. Big corporations don't give fuck one about human beings. Yet there are always plenty of numbnuts type right wingers amongst the working class that will actively support the same far right people and big corporations that routinely fuck them. Now those are some dumb motherfuckers that have a ton of bad Karma coming to them. Same thing to cops that arrest peacefull protesters. Fuck them for being worthless swine.

If you have not worked for Hyatt, shut your mouth. When you work at Hyatt it's like working with family. You give all you have because you love your job and Hyatt showed they cared. I was at Hyatt for 2 years and even though only 15 were cut from my hotel, it was devastating. Not because they blamed the economy and had to make a business decision, but how they made that decision. Most people who were cut were told they were training seasonal help and then slapped with a firing massacre.

Uuuuh, "I Am Not Afraid"..?? You looked like a bunch of compliant, servile, chickenshits standing up and in a boot-licking way allowing yourselves to be handcuffed and taken to jail. Hmmm, I wonder if any of these people have gotten any new ideas from those in the middle east on how to reeeeeally have a protest and get what you want. Sitting on the ground, smiling, chanting and holding non-threatening signs will get you nowhere.

This is not civil disobedience. This is modern American ignorance. Just because you were let go from a job does not make a company "evil" or "greedy." Labor is a market just like any other. Someone else was willing to sell their labor at a lower price. Good for them. Now THEY have jobs they can support THEIR families with. Ever think of that? Two sides to every coin. And with the money they save they can hire even MORE people. Welcome to Economics 101 kids. It's going to be a long semester.

So, you really have no idea of the specific issues at Hyatt, do you? You simply want to hold forth with your own rant about some idea you've been sold regarding labor. Maybe you want to put your high school civics education to good use. Go heckle somebody else.

That isn't true civil disobediance. That is crying because you don't have enough skills to get a job or employ yourself and you feel hassling a corporation is going to make things better when it never will.
why not protest our violent and corrupt government instead of a free market enterprise that did nothing but make a business decision?

Why don't they go get another job instead of whining about it? They aren't "entitled" to those jobs. The time they spent doing that could have been spent looking for another job!!!!!!

Thanks for expressing your bewilderment and ignorance of labor issues, David. You've illustrated the point that fools have no idea what is going on, but that doesn't stop them from commenting.
