I want to buy this for airsoft, how strong is the front lense/shield and/or can cut some protective plastic for it?

also the woo sang shop is 1 interesting shop (soo much chinese food n drink goodies) - anyone in manchester has to visit it!

@anikidwolfy I'd say it was pretty strong. I'd imagine that any extra plastic in front of the lens would create reflections.

Excellent review indeed! It's a shame about the sound, but nothing that can't be solved with an external and more capable audio recording device.

@lagerstarfish it was my cable - the one that came with the camera works fine (I forgot that I had it). Now able to use an old standard def camcorder (with a/v in) as a monitor for when the Croc is on the end of a long stick.

Result!

The "TV out" function doesn't seem to work on mine - I get a messy useless picture on the screen. Anyone else used this function and got it working OK? I suspect my cable, but don't have another 2.5mm 4 pole jack and cable to try. Just wondering if anyone else has used this output...

I have to say, my crocolis lasted only 28 days. It died on me, the 3 red lights come on and then it makes a funny sound, and smells like something inside burnt. I returned it to the place where I bought it and I hope they replace it because the quality of the recordings is very good.

My camera just came in today from Chinavasion. I took a 3 min footage to test it and to my surprise, the Pinnacle does not have audio AT ALL!!! The original files have though. Any ideas to fix this?

Has a very "fish eye" effect which I feel distorts the total image. It would be interesting to compare this camera with the GO PRO Hero 2 in both land and water features to give a greater comparison of these cams abilities and features. Very thorough review.
