I am an American!

In 1954 an Akron, Ohio, high school girl, Elizabeth Ellen Evans, wrote a prize-winning essay titled "I Speak for Democracy." Carmon Dragon, conductor-composer of the School Broadcast, and Adrian Michael's, the Broadcast's program manager, read the essay and were impressed by its sincere patriotic feeling. Michaelis developed and adapted the words for musical presentation and Dragon composed the choral-orchestral background for a dramatic narration. The result: "I am an American." It was first heard on The Standard Hour, broadcast on "I am an American Day," September 12, 1954, from the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco. (Narrator: Edmond O'Brien)

What makes us Americans? The country of our birth, idiots. We speak English, because most of the Founding Fathers were from there, remember we had a little war in 1776 and kicked the Britsh, the most powerful army and navy in the world at that time, right back across the ocean. They were even stupid enough to try to get it back in 1812. Have you ever been here, Native American words are spoken and written all over America, the natives are Americans too!

I have been to the USA. They eat gigantic portions of junk food and everyone is overweight. They are all racist and want to nuke all other countries. They think they are special and hate Mexicans & Canadians. Poverty is widespread and millions are homeless. Most people don't have access to healthcare and millions have diabetes. Jews control everything & $5 billion dollars is given to Israel yearly. They wear ill-fitting clothing & chew tobacco. They are plagued by extreme weather. Avoid.

@wonderfulskirt For one, English is not Germanic. It's Latin. Second, Food and ancestory dont define a country.

And you can say the same about any country with there products. If no one bought from China, they would be picked on for over populating the earth.

You should get better facts before attacking a country blindly.

America is where everyone can come togather in peace (for the most part)
