Sursum corda
P Lift up your hearts to God. C We lift up our hearts. P (Let us) Give thanks to the Lord our God. C He alone is worthy of our thanks and praise.
Preface
P You alone are indeed worthy of our praise, almighty Father, holy God. We will praise and bless you through Jesus Christ, our Lord. He is your eternal word that reaches to the ends of the earth to meet people and influence their lives. Across the world your wonders take place, when people acknowledge him as your Son, our Saviour. By him we know your name: our Father, in him we see your being, that is love. Therefore, with the faithful of all the ages, and with all the heavenly host, we praise your name and sing in adoration:
Sanctus
Eucharistic prayer A (a bit modified)
P You are holy, O Lord our God, you hold the heavens and the earth in your hand. We give you thanks that you sent your Son to be the Saviour of the world. He laid aside everything, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death on the cross. Therefore you have exalted him above everything and given him the name that is above all names. Send your Spirit to sanctify this bread and cup as we draw close to you that we may receive what you have done for us in Christ. In the night that he was betrayed he took the bread and gave you thanks, he broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take, eat. This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. He took the cup, gave you thanks and gave it to his disciples, saying: Drink ye all of this. This cup is the new covenant in my blood that is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. As often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of me.
P Mystery of faith
C Christ has died O Lord, we proclaim your death Christ is risen we rejoice in your resurrection Christ will come again and we look for your coming in glory. P. Holy Father, we celebrate this eucharist in remembrance of your Son's suffering and death, his resurrection and ascension. Send your Spirit on us who bring these gifts and who receive the bread of life and the cup of blessing that is the body and blood of Christ. Help us to give his love to the world Give us an eye for all that suffer, and make are hearts burn with his love. Make your church into a sign of unity that the world may believe. Let that day come soon when you create a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells. All glory and honour belong to you, God, with your only Son and of the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever.
C Amen
P We pray in communion with all your church in heaven and on earth as we wait for the day when we shall see you face to face:
The Lord's prayer
P We break this bread to share in the body of Christ. C Though we are many, we are one body because we all share in one bread. P The Peace of the Lord be with you.

We pray in communion with all your church in heaven and on earth as we wait for the day when we shall see you face to face: we celebrate this, send your Spirit on us who bring these gifts and who receive the bread of life and the cup of blessing that is the body and blood of Christ. Help us to give his love to the world Give us an eye for all that suffer, and make are hearts burn with his love. Make your church into a sign of unity that the world may believe.
