The Slackers Live From Flamingo Cantina in Austin, TX : DVD Sneak Preview

Brooklyn's very own The Slackers came to the Flamingo in January of '08 toting their unique blend of soul-ska-reggae;, blowing horns and banging keys; basically tearing the down the house and we got it all on film. This January were thrilled to release to the public our very first in a series of "Live & Direct from Flamingo Cantina" DVDs. To celebrate, well be throwing a party on January 30th & 31st 2009 with the guys who made it happen. ($12 tickets available at End of an Ear Records and Flamingo Cantina)

Following the celebration, the DVD in it's entirety will be available on www.amazon.com as well as on www.interpunk.com

  • i've loved these guys since first seeing them over a decade ago, but they're horn section seriously needs a trumpet again (not to put down the excellent horn players they have now).
