Nevertheless, why be so careless? The Blessed Mother appeared in this tiny mountain village in Laus (PRONOUNCED "LOW") France. It's in the Alps: Think high but pronounce LOW! : - )
@michiganois Laus, in Latin, means praise... and, in Latin, "Laus" is pronounced like the nation's name Laos. just a little bit of Latin and maybe a bit of slightly humorous irony huh? God bless you all! Ken Ebacher
PLEASE NOTE: When it's time to honor Our Lady, how "LOW" can you go? Notre Dame Du Laus IS pronounced Our Lady of "LOW" in English. It is absolutely NOT pronounced "Laos." Laos is a country in SE Asia.
I've never heard of her either. What a treasure Our Lady gives us. How we need to abide by her words and warnings. I pray for the hard hearts of so many who are so bitter toward the Church. I pray they would see the gentleness of Our Lady and come to understand that the Church is not oppressive but liberating...for God is liberally loving, so much so he gave His only Son...who in turn created His own mother and gave her to us! Mercy is NOW...believe and receive and love as you've been loved.
