Now for something completely different.... Let's make this technology not only applicable to the average end user but affordable as well..... The average end user does not have 50k to invest in a system just to lower his consumption expenses. When you can make it affordable is when it will catch on.......

the 8.5 million they got back is a one time rebate, which in the long run will save the gov. $ by less oil importing. + The fact the school is know a power company and is taxed the same as a power company, means the gov. has already re cooped there 8.5 million and then some. So less oil imported, gov. makes $ off the system already and the school has saved almost 30million to date as compared to before the install. I cant see your reasoning.

Technology wise I LOVE IT! unfortunately its a very negative impact on the economy because of the poor ROI curve. They must be subsidized by government TAX incentives and rebates from governments that are going bankrupt themselves??? how the F does that work? Oh yeah! - MORE TAXES. n-joy your new solar along with your Gov-Motors car company.

That is very cool ... Imagine if every major corporation produced 2 or 3 megawatts of their own electricity , wind or solar or both, what a huge impact
