The free market lifts people out of poverty. Government run economies only benefit the politically loyal and the powerful. Government takes 30-40% of the labor of all Americans one way or another. That is enough, they don't need more power.

Which parts, sections, facts given, quotes or anything at all were incorrect and needed rebuttal?

It IS an attack on the 'free market system' (actually anything BUT a real 'free' market) and rightly so. As was being described, here as elsewhere, the damage and harm done and lives lost and badly affected are very real. The quotes from the horses' mouths are enlightening to those who don't know. To those who might claim to know better (yourself for example) please enlighten us?

This was an indoctrination session as there was no rebuttal.I found it interesting that they reported the discrepancy between CEO's and workers, but say nothing about the discrepancy between the Fed Gov't workers and the Tax Payers wages.

I would like to see an investigation into the rising cost of education and healthcare due to government involvement (manipulation).Gov't offers financial aide for education the cost goes up rather than schools competing .Emergency room Hcare? Why carry insurance?

I found this to be a very slanted "attack" on the free market system The "investigation", as this persons look into America's economic collapse of 2008 blames deregulation while completely ignoring the fact that this was caused by the governments manipulation of the market through Fannie mae and Freddy mac The gov't basically told the banks to write the mortgages because they would be backed by Fannie and Freddy The Dodd-Frank bill does nothing to reign in F&F Who now writes all mortgages? F&F

Charities do very little to balance of assets on earth, the inequality grows, the rich can accumulate vast wealth through assets, investments, intellectual property rights, gambling etc. historically the west has gained wealth through colonies exploiting the world of labour and resources. Consumerism is rampant and encouraged. This all leaves a great inbalance in assets. Every year six million children under 5 die from malnutrition. 1300 individual billionaires have hoarded 94% of the plane

And in what societies are the ordinary men and women made to be the most well-off? Where is there the greatest possible socioeconomic mobility? In what societies are the people the most generous, with the most giving and largest charities that help millions of people? Did Obama stand at FEMA headquarters and congratulate them on their great work or at the Red-Cross? Capitalism is far more than proven, my friend. And it's the Only just economic system, since it's based on voluntary exchange.

What economic/political systems are in place in those countries where most of the starving people are? Are they free market, capitalistic economies with governments that protect individual property rights, or no?

And if capitalism is so bad how come you're not starving to death? And where'd you get your computer with which to spread your ever-so enlightened hatred of capitalism??!

Does she not realize that privatizing something, such as herds of yaks for instance, is quite often the best method of protecting them? The fact of the matter is wild yak populations are in danger of going extinct and the government of Mongolia either doesn't have the resources, or interest, to preserve them. So allowing someone to "own" the yaks, and perhaps even use them as a resource of some kind, incentivizes their protection, contrary to what Miss Klein's bleeding heart tells her.
