You are saying that in some cases "special education" category can be used as a way to protect violent children from more formal processes such as commitment to a facility away from general populace, that in some cases, special education is used in a way that allows violent children to repeat assault. This type youth can also attack and injure other children. Another issue is that the special education professionals do not communicate to others that a student has history of violence.

@Joeey Yes, JOey that is what I'm saying. As far as communitcating to other professionals one of the first things I encountered when covering for another teacher is they would brief me on which students to look out for. I know this sounds harsh, but unfortunately it's true.
