That's not true. I worked for AT&T and I know several employees who got sick, went on sick leave, got medical coverage the whole time. One was in a horrible car wreck and out for a whole year, full medical coverage, came back to work when she was able. I know some who retired on disability with full coverage.Where R U getting YOUR info? Mine is first hand.Not all companies have the same policy. I took 3 month off myself for a hysterectomy.

I work in a Fortune 500 firm and my employer and I pay about 800 a month for basically the same coverage you have, except I have to pay alot more for my prescriptions. Knock off 50 for dental. My plan doesnt pay a penny until my wallet has become $2500 lighter. On top of that many of us are paying for your social security and medicare. Im not complaining about it. You should do the same.

The last time I checked the state pool insurance here was over 1500 a month, probably more than a retail worker takes home.
