In fact, you're currently taking advantage of unprecedentedly expanding avenues for connection and expression, the lifeblood for evolving liberal arts, which exclusively exists because of math & science. Clearly, "undivided attention" on your pet aspect of society, will be deleterious to the same cohesion you pine for. It's divided attention that a healthy society requires.
