UFC President Dana White is his usual no holds barred self as he sits down with 'Showdown' Joe Ferraro.

  • Come back to Australia a.s.a.p

and bring on a title fight

  • @jeremiegn33

That's right and that's more than TEN times the pay that the current UFC top fighters get. STILL Fedor's management disagrees, even when Fedor can do sambo etc besides the UFC, but still they won't sign the deal, because they want to do co-promotion... Come on, I'm a Fedor fan, but his management's on my 'fuckoff' list for sure. Fedor should fire these fuckers and get real managers.

  • @dslking I'm o.k with Dana White but I love Fador, he is the greatest fighter in MMA history. Dana White has admitted it but he say he doesn't think hes as good as he used to be and he wants him to come to UFC to fight top 10 fighters and prove himself again. In idiot terms so you can understand Dana white understands Fadors the man and he wants him on UFC bad.

  • M-1 want world wide organisation but forget that it is easier to bring the talent over to them and instead of having many low quality events they should do as Dream and UFC and Strikeforce - having less number of events but much higher quality of fighters.

Image comes first (quality) then comes the size (quantity) of the organization. M-1 does not understand that and will perish.

  • Top fighters, most headliners get a cut of the ppv. Usually it is anywhere from 1.5 to 3 dollar per ppv buy plus a large amount in sponserships and also some have gotten up to 500k for signing bonuses to renew contracts. Strikeforce is now a national org and may not have more money but may have more to offer m1 with the co promotion and everything else. Strikeforce will bend bc they need credibilty, they only have like 2 or 3 top ten guys in all divisions combined and need more.

  • Those numbers aren't even close. Arum was far more realistic in his guess. No one, even in boxing, has ever claimed that ufc sells less than 90k buys. Arum just wants to see the numbers from the "independent" auditing firm. Dana claimed it was far over 100k, which is probably was, they have sold over 100k buys on every card for several years.

  • so u're saying that a fighter who makes 300,000 just to fight will make 2-6 million in that one night? how does that work? and strikeforce in no way has more to offer money wise, they're a small region level company at best, compared to UFC which is on a national and now going international

  • ricardo arona have to go to the ufc

  • The thing about airing a fight in a country with only 1 major network is there is no competition . Advertisers will pay huge money to market to virtually every home . Airing a Pacquiao figt in the Phillipines for free drew 5 million in advertisement ! The Russian market is much larger and let's face it , there are more products made in Russia than Phillipines . Imagine a company selling a product (vodkaLOL) and getting to market to 100 million people . It would be like their Superbowl .
